Michael A. DeRosa, DO, FACE:

Dr. DeRosa is the clinical director of Endocrinology Associates of Ohio, LLC. He is a Canfield native. He graduated from Canfield High School, and then obtained a BS in zoology from Ohio University. He then attended Youngstown State University where he was enrolled in the Masters in Biology program. Dr. DeRosa graduated from The New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Penn State Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. He then completed his fellowship in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. DeRosa was subsequently appointed Director of Endocrinology at Forum Health's Northside Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. In 2005 Dr. DeRosa moved his practice to its present location. Dr. DeRosa is board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Mary Lou Dale, PA-C, CDE:

Mary Lou specializes in the medical care of patients that suffer from diabetes. Mary Lou is a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School. She then completed a BS in Allied Health at Youngstown State University. Mary Lou attended Penn State University at Hershey Medical Center where she completed her Associates Degree in their Physician Assistant Program. Mary Lou has been a practicing physician assistant since 1983. She has been employed by Endocrinology Associates of Ohio since January of 2005.

 

Jill Barton, NP:

Jill graduated from Kent State University in 1999 with her Masters in Nursing degree. She holds credentials with the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Certified Nurse Practitioner. She practiced family medicine for 9 years and has been specializing in endocrinology since January 2008. She has been a certified insulin pump trainer since 2002. She has a passion for caring for people with diabetes as she also has Type 1 Diabetes.

 

Katy Shurilla, PA-C:

Katy graduated with her Master's degree from the Duquesne University Physician Assistant Program. Since that time she has been specializing in endocrinology with a focus in caring for those with diabetes.
